Founding Visionary – Bob Goldston
An enlightened spirit of Truth, Bob Goldston envisioned a church that would enable practicing the teachings of the Christ. He wanted a spiritual center of inclusion that embodied the principles of acceptance and love. Bob transitioned December 25, 2007.
Pastor Camille Bennett
Camille Bennett is the daughter of Bob and Vicki Goldston, founding visionaries of Living Spirit Church. She followed in her parents’ footsteps and served as Assistant Minister for 5 years. In October 2012, Minister Vicki Goldston passed the torch with love to her daughter Camille, who is now Minister/Pastor of Living Spirit Church.
Minister/Pastor Camille is a graduate of The University of Metaphysics. She also has a BA in Marketing from University of Alabama and won a National Championship in Poetry Interpretation while on the University of Alabama Forensics Team in 1999. Camille works alongside her loving husband, Taurus Bennett, as co-founder, Executive Director of Focus-Scope Child Enrichment Program in Florence, AL. Camille has served her community as a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate through Lauderdale County CASA. Since 2011, She has actively advocate for children in the foster care system. She is also the Founder of Project Say Something a non-profit advocacy group for social justice and action against racism.
Camille believes that through hope, humility and clear vision, and service, we can all reach the highest states of enlightenment. She delivers a message of love-in-action and opens up for discussion in every Celebration Service. Minister Camille is also a joyful, present and grateful mother to sons Christian (16) and Morgan (12).
Minister Vicki Goldston
A desire to help others live life abundantly is what drew Vicki to the ministry. Blessed herself with loving teachers and spiritual guidance in her own life, Vicki sees her call as one of passing on to others the support and guidance others gave to her. Her deepest wish is to be of service and to facilitate transformation and spiritual growth.
Affectionately called Mama G., Vicki is originally from Chicago, IL, has lived in Cleveland, OH, St. Maarten, Virginia Beach, and currently resides in Florence, AL. She has a BA in Communications, from Case Western Reserve University, and is a candidate for Masters of Divinity from the Johnnie Coleman Theological Seminary. Vicki created and facilitates Revelations: A Ministry Celebrating Transformation.
Vicki is President of Camp Goldston Publishing, LLC; a Freelance Writer; a Contributing Author for Chicken Soup for the Soul author Mark Hansen’s book, The Miracle of Tithing, and is the author of Be S.A.F.E. (Still, Aware, Faithful, Excellent). Camp Goldston currently publishes Garden Spices Magazine online. The magazine celebrates our differences.
