About livingspiritchurch

a new thought church, which, like Jesus, practices "the religion of the heart". our doors are open to all who enter with loving intentions.

Here we are pursuing congruence through our balancing act.  Let’s talk about it at the Living Spirit Celebration Service, Sunday, 11:00AM.  Come to the Upper Room, where the circle embraces us, all voices are heard, and love has the final word.

Our motto: “As we give we receive…radical giving creates radical transformation” One love!

Hold on! I’m comin’!

hour glassThis new paradigm has us shifting at an unparalleled pace.  The news changes by the moment, and as we view or hear about it,  our perceptions change with it.  We also find ourselves in a place of urgency and call upon the patience we need to endure life’s dynamic changes.  Join us Sunday at Living Spirit, where we are in the throes of many changes.  We’re celebrating patience at 11:00AM!

Our motto: “As we give we receive…radical giving creates radical transformation” One love!

Finding Joy

monksDuring these turbulent times, we are sometimes distracted by the illusion of fear.  How do we realize the joy of each moment?  Come to Living Spirit and celebrate YOU, Sunday, 11:00AM.

Ute Bonn will be bringing us her sounds of joy.

Our motto: “As we give we receive…radical giving creates radical transformation” One love!

__jump_away_4___by_ldinami7eTaking a leap into new-living is a challenge and a process.Today, we are called upon to move in ways that hit us like a spiritual two-by-four.  Let’s talk about it at Living Spirit’s Celebration Service, 11:00AM.

Before our service we have Keys to Conscious Living.  Bring something you with to share and discuss, a quote, a poem – something that feeds your soul.

We’re rising up at Living Spirit!

Mother Earth

Why are indigenous spiritual traditions calling us to honor the Mother?  Join us at Living Spirit for our discussion about Mother Earth, 11:00AM.  Keys to Conscious Living meets at 10:00AM.  Bring a book or reading that inspires you and read a passage for discussion.

Don’t forget out Community Drum Circle, celebrating Earth Day tonight, 7:30PM!!!

We love you!!!!!!!!!!

Easter on the Mound

Living Spirit will celebrate Easter on the Mound, 10AM with the CORE Center.  Please wear white, if possible and join us with an open heart.

CORE Center Reminder:

Inca Elder Willaru Hyauata will be  conducting Ceremony on the Florence Mound (1028 S. Court St., Florence, AL  35630, Google for directions to mound) on Easter Sunday at 10am.

Current message From Willaru:

“We cannot expect society to change until we change ourselves from within. The darkness of our world, the wars and pollution, is only a reflection of our personal lives of darkness and mental, physical and spiritual pollution. “Our true enemy, as well as our true source of strength, lies within,” When enough of us have conquered the that enemy then the external world will change. When this happens there will be no need for political parties of the left or right. There will be no need for governments because each citizen will know how to govern himself.’
